I had a 15 yr. old pair of Steiner 8x30s and sent them to Burris for repair. They were out of warranty and not worth repairing. Burris offered to let me trade those in for one of several different models (my choice), at a cost below any online price I could find. I upgraded, got a new warranty, better coatings, etc. I was very happy with the deal.
