I don't have any experience with the Millet, but I would take the Nikon Buckmaster over the Simmons Aetec.

the old aetecs were pretty good sights. i have shot a lot of rifles with the buckmaster on them and it is my recommendation for this class of scope.

i like the glass best in the nikon, but the millet is much better than the simmons. the millet however is a very heavy scope, made with steel tube. also they have recently been bought out so what happens to them now is anybodys guess

The BuckMasters is better optically than the Aetec. I won't comment on the Millett as my experience with it is limited.

Also, the older Aetecs are superior to the newer versions. It seens the newer versions have either fewer or cheaper coatings and are more prone to glare, particularly late in the day when shooting towards the western horizon.

Nikon buckmaster is my choice. I have never been impressed by a simmons. I have very limited experience with millett.

My 4-14x40 buckmaster that is on my Savage BVSS .223 was impressive enough that it put my Leupold 15-45x60 Sequoia to shame. Didn't matter at what power either.

Nikon...took mine to from Texas to Namibia w/only an adjustment needed for elevation-6 clicks up and 2 down! Most likely a function of the weather...hot and humid to cool and dry!

In my experience, the Nikkon Buckmaster is the best scope for the money on the market thumb

I would rate them:
1. Nikon Buckmaster
2. Nikon Buckmaster
3. Nikon Buckmaster
