Interesting. Is that available with a hood?

Interesting concept. Ever thought of a "flip up" night sight like the old warthog ivory "night sights" or having it come out of the base in front of the regular metal iron sight? In other words, I like my old black irons, until I get into low light and then I'd like a "night sight" that pops up, flips up or somehow magically appears. Just a thought.

not from me, but I am sure that you could easily work one fitting over it - no doubt!

The amazing thing is realy the ability to shoot under nearly all light conditions easily. To give You an idea of the "old" style (where just a small point is illuminated - now with the new ones, the whole blade of the front sight is "glowing") - You could watch this video on U-tube:
