Just got a pretty good deal on a used monarch. Based on everything I've read here, I'm excited and can't wait for it to arrive next week. It's going to sit on my 22-250 for right now.

Man, one of my favorite scopes. Have two of them. I just had a chance to compare to a Zeiss 6.5-20x. And the Nikon is a shade better. Maybe a less than average Zeiss, I don't know. But two people agreed with me.

Nikon makes one of the best scopes for the money. They are excellent for hunting as well as bench rest use. Dedicated bench rest scopes,such as leup(old),(read-no good in low light),are of no use to me as I hunt with all of my rifles.
