Well I didn't see anyone posting about it yet...

Got the 2008 Cabelas shooting catalog today...

besides being highly unimpressed with bullet and components newer pricing, on the back cover, the new Bushnell Elite 6500 series did catch my eye...

In particular, the 4.5 x 30 ( you read that right!) power with a 50 mm objective and side focus, with a mil dot reticle...

it will be available after March 15th... that is a pretty impressive range of power, particulary for a vamint scope....

the price was a bit depressing... $929.00...

however some of my varmint hunting buddies are ragging on me with my low buck glass on my rifles....

so I figure it is time for me to migrate from quantity to quality....

so has anyone picked up one of this series in one of its lower power ones???....

Since I can by a large screen TV for this price rang, I thought I'd really look one over or listen to anyone who has seen them, before saving and plunking down this type of money...for ONE scope!
