Zeiss has announced Conquests in 2.5-8 and 1.?-5.5. See the Zeiss site for other new announcments. Those Conquests were not on the site the last time I looked. See 24hr campfire for that info.

That is true. Zeiss is coming out with a Conquest 4x32, 2.5-8x32 and a 1.8-5.5x38 this May.

Hi Jon,

Just wondering why Zeiss is bringing out the dial caps in plastic. Perhaps a cost saving idea? Did anyone ever ask you to enquire if they can make it in an alminium alloy?

LJS ----- I have shot the 3 X 9 Ziess Conquest extensively with my .416 Remington Model 70 Winchester. One trip to Tanzania for buffalo and no problems, the combo worked to perfection. I also shoot the same scope on my Ruger # l in .416 Rigby with some very hot loads (400 grain bullets at 2700 fps plus) and no problems there either. Good shooting.

Good question. We have not seen any yet. But hey, we got another week of May!

Hmmmmm...it's June now!!!!!!

Well we got a few of our backordered Zeiss 2.5-8x32 and 1.8-5.5x36's in for some of our backorders that we have on file. We have some 4x32's that are available. Good thing is that we should be getting some scattered in as the days go by.

I received an email from Zeiss this morning announcing a $399 price on this 3-9X40 Conquest deal. Plus you get a $75 discount towards a Zeiss binocular if you buy a scope.
