I have a Minox angled 62 ED now.I like the optics but detest the angled spotter.I just can`t use it in my truck because it sits too high.So I want a straight one only.$800 to $900 is what I can afford to spend.Would even buy used if in good condition. Thanks ahead,OB

Perhaps just buy the Minox Straight 62 w/o any eyepiece and then just pop in the current eyepiece you're using. Would save you a couple hundred bucks from what you want to spend.

Rotate the spotter to eye level. IMHO and experience the angled is the way to go for comfort of use. There is a bit of a learning curve.

That does not work on a Minox as it has no collar to rotate in.It is solid to the mount.

That would present a problem for sure.

Go to EBAY and find a 15-60 zoom, Rochester NY made Bausch&Lomb. Heavy and built like a Mac truck, but you mention using it in truck. If you also plan on packing it, look some more. If truck only, you wont beat it. They are clear.

A used swarovski would be your best bet. Personally i prefer the angled, but to each their own.

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.
