Has anyone tried the new Leupold Mark AR's or Nikon M-223's yet? I am building another AR-15 and would like some feedback from folks that have actually used either line.

Bob, I played with one of the Leupold MARK AR's at a Cabela's store for about a 1/2 hour on a slow day. IMO, the optics are on par with VX-II line of scopes. I didn't find any "surprises" about the scope. It had the typical Leupold feel to it. Good eye relief and generous eye position. The clarity wasn't the best but it was VERY usable. I would bet the lenses have VX-II coatings. I was in a store and don't have any field expierence with the scope so no real good info but if you have a VX-II you've got a good idea of what you're getting into opticly with a Leupold MARK AR.
