This may be ignorance, but I can't get a Lyman 25X to focus past 250-300 yds. For some reason it's blurry. It's crystal clear up to around 200 and then it starts to blur. Were these designed just for 22 rifles at 25, 50, and 100 yds? I've turned the objective to the respective yardages, but it only turns so far... what am I missing here? I love the scope, but for a 25X I figured 300+ yds. would be its specialty. It shoots great on the 30-06 right now... but nothing over 200 yards is clear enough to make target shots. What gives? I'm at a loss... Mark

Wish I could help you but I have never used a Lyman Super Target Spot scope. I do have two similar scopes, a Unertl and a Mitchell Target scope that have the moving front objective lens for focusing. I would guess that the front lens on your scope isn't moving far enough to focus at the distances where it's blurry now. That's all I can contribute. Wish I knew more about the Lyman's. Hopefully someone with exparience with them will post here to help you. Don
