Anyone know what brand scope this is? It was factory mounted on a 7x64 Brno ZG-47 in 1956. Meopta? There are no markings on it. ![]() ![]() ![]() NRA Life Member, Band of Bubbas Charter Member, PGCA, DRSS. Shoot & hunt with vintage classics.

Looks like some really old ( maybe pre WWII ? ) zeiss I have seen, or maybe early East German Zeiss? Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you....

that top adjustment is very similar, if not the same, as on scopes used on '98 sniper rifles. same scope, I think. ![]() on eBay: Hensoldt Wetzlar Dialytan 4x ![]() ![]() http://cgi.ebay.com/WWI-WWII-GERMAN-Dialytan-4x-Mauser-...QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://search.ebay.com/Scope-Cover-Ajack-Sniper-Scope-k98-Mauser_W0QQfsiZ1 http://www.google.com/custom?hl=en&safe=off&cof=&q=98+m...+sniper&start=0&sa=N -although, seeing the scopes on the eBay page, there are similarities shared by several, and your three turret screws don't match the eBay pics. The father of a friend of mine brought back a scope like these from Germany after the war, it did not have the knurled ring at the rear of the tube as these do. -just noticed the adjustment knob on the turret faces opposite direction- sorry for the goose chase.
