Friends- I need a recommendation for a scope for my CZ-527 in .22 Hornet. I like variables. I was thinking Leupold or better quality wise. Specifically, I was looking for recommendations as to power and bell size. Thank you in advance for your help. May the wind be in your face and the sun at your back. P. Mark Stark

Nikon Monarch's are being upgraded this year. Still some smokin deals on the older models. For the money, you would be hard pressed to find a better scope. What distance do you plan on shooting? Target turrets or ranging reticle?? Both or neither?? http://www.swfa.com/pc-1920-218-nikon-4-12x40-monarch-ucc-riflescope.aspx Here's an example of the deals on the old Monarchs. I went with the 6.5-20 lit Mil Dot and love it. cheaptrick.....out!!

I have a 4.5 X 14 x 50 Sightron on a K hornet. I am happy with that. I would recommend 4x12 or 4x14 over 3x9.

I'm using a Vari X III 4.5-14x40 and it does the job. It kinda depends on what you're going to use it for, or better yet, what you expect out of it, i.e., hunting at night? or just a daytime outfit? Waidmannsheil, Dom. -------- There are those who only reload so they can shoot, and then there are those who only shoot so they can reload. I belong to the first group. Dom ---------

I have a Bushnell 6x18 on my CZ. I like watching crows being dismembered when that little Sierra Blitz hits 'em.
