Did Mauser ever have scopes contracted for them ? i know they had knives made, etc, for them .If so who made them for Mauser does anyone know ? thanks

Yes, there was once a scope marketed with the Mauser banner. I have no idea who made it.

As I recall, when Mauser was making their 2000 and 3000 series pushfeeds, they a Japanese company make some inexpensive scopes to market alongside them.

In the late 70's, in the Interarms catalogs, they sold Mauser Banner Rifle scopes. A 4x and a 3x-9x produced by a top opticial mfg. in Japan to rigid Mauser Standards with a lifetime guarantee. Duraluminum tubes, 1/4" adj., and black anodized finish.
