Are the new Talley stainless steel rings and bases milled from stainless steel or are they coated to match a stainless finish?

I have a recent set of there new "stainless" lightweight bases/rings. As light as they seem to be I would speculate they are made from alunimum and anodized.


My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

the lightweight rings are Aluminum. The "silver" screw-lock rings and bases are stainless steel.
