Yes,

I'm not familiar with the scoe you mentioned. But, some of the scopes are made by Tasco and are not recommended. Just beware of what you buy.

I have one in 20X. It is mounted on a Rem 700HB in 308, with a 20moa scope mount. Optics seem very good, and eye relief seems good as well. Unfortunately I have not used it yet! I am still waiting to go the the 600 yard range where I planned on using it. I do not claim to be an expert on scopes, and have certainly not looked at it critically. However, I was impressed with the "brightness" of the image.
I believe that they were made by Tasco at one point. I don't know who makes them now. Having said that, I am not sure that being made by Tasco is all bad either.

At one time made by TASCO, but believe that SWFA how has them made for their distribution only. For the dollars, not a bad deal. Early ones had some clarity problems in the 20x model, but have been told by some who use them for tactical matches, exercises, etc. that they work fine. Early claim was the Navy Warfare Weapons group had authorized the scope,????, and you will see them from time to time on rifles at long range matches. The folks shooting F class have them it seems more than the Prone/Sling shooters. Have been considering one of their 10X models myself.

a 10X is also on my list to try as is the 16x....

I have heard the 20 x is not that good and clear.. at least from a friend who owned several... they were so bad, he wouldn't sell me one, since we are friends...even for a cheap price...

they are solidly built tho, that is for sure...

not every thing with TASCO name on it was junk...

I believe the ones sold now are on a special contract exclusive, and are made in Japan...not China or some cheap place like that...

The scopes may have been marketed by Tasco. But not made by Tasco. Tasco is a trade name. Or at least it was a trade name when I was a Sales Rep.

I have been considering one in a 16X. I have read several good reviews from competant people. If I can find the review's I will post them.

Their best attribute is suppose to be in their positive tracking system, instead of friction type. Repeatabilty is suppose to be very good. It was actually rated at the top end for tracking. Glass quality and coating's are not the top end(obviously), but I will be using it for daytime varmint hunting. Low light situations will not be relevant for my use.

I also believe that it is cheaper for a mfr. to make a fixed power scope. And I also believe a fixed power scope is more durable. Tom.

There you go, they must be good if they are subject to ITAR!

They are made by Hakko. I've had three or four of them, still have a 10X that needs some repairs, but due to the shipping/border issues, that's not a happening thing. Tasco did market them with their name on them, and the SWFA started marketing them as the Super Sniper line. Pretty good scopes for the money. You can also buy directly from Hakko, or so an email I got from them sometime back claimed. FWIW - dan

No Sir, I believe that's incorrect.

My 10x rear focus Super Sniper is one of my all time favorites. It's a great scope for the money!
