I've been looking for 10 x 42 binoculars in the $1,000 - $1,200 range and got a recommendation for the Miopta Meostar 10 x 42 HD's.

Anyone out there own these or have looked through them?

Any opinions would be appreciated.

My hunting pal has Meopta 8x42s (I think) and he is very happy with them, saying they are much better than the Bushnells he sold me Smiler

Hunters must have stronger, steadier arms these days. When I grew up they were warned against binos bigger than 8x because of the difficulty in holding them steady.
