Took my new 2.5 X 10 X 42 IOR scope to the range yesterday to sight in and load test. My first exoerience with the reticle on the FFP. It was different, not meant as a target reticle by any means but I thought it was awesome for what I palne to do with it. The glass is fantastic, I was there early and shot a bit in low light, I was amazed at how clear it was then also. I was worried that the MP-8 reticle might be too busy but it wasn't. The clicks were solid and worked as they were advertised. I din't get to try a box test or run up and down alot, barrel got hot and the hfree range cattle kept getting in the way. I am very happy with this scope and I will buy another or two for other rifles I have. I need to get used to the reticle, I might buy a mil dot master or something as I am not schooled formally on the mil dot system.
