Anyone have a Konus spotter 20-60x80? Model 1720 or 1723?

How do you like it?

I read some people recommend it over at the benchrest forum

got the m30 rifle scope and am empressed with the quality to price ratio very clear and accurate

I have a Konus 20x60x80 spotting scope, but it's model 7120 not the ones you mentioned. I paid $235.00 for it. It is a good scope for the price, but as I always say, you get what you pay for.

What are your expectations for a spotting scope? Do you want to see holes beyond 300 yards? If so, this may not be the scope for you. On bad mirage days you would have trouble at 300 yards (better scopes may also have trouble). Although your eyes are probably better than mine. I don't think I could see my 338 holes past 300 yards, but I plan to try it next time I get the chance. This scope has been mentioned on this forum before and others here may have different experiences.
