I need to buy three scopes for long range varmint shooting, so price is a concern right now. I know Mueller scopes are low prices, but I've been told this is because they have cut out distributors. Don't know if this is true or not. They have a very sweet looking 6-25x50 scope at a reasonable price, but like most things in life, you get what you pay for. I'm hoping maybe this is an exception to that rule? Thanks, Kory

I have a Mueller 3.5x10x44. I bought mine from the Optic Zone just before OZ dropped the Mueller line. Mine is on a M700 270. Bright clear scope. Works great for me. Very happy with this scope. Not enough time in the field to tell if it is durable. Later on this year I'll see if it will survive the woods. Do not put this scope on a hard kicking rifle. I had it on a 300 WBY for about 15 minutes. Not enough eye relief on a heavy kicking gun(for me anyway). If I needed a scope for a light kicking gun I'd get another. The are many folks over at Lord Grumpy Graybeard's Imperial website that like these scopes. Check over there for more reviews. ZM

Have / had one of the 3.5-10x44mm. I just sold it on Ebay. Not because I was not satisfied, I just didn't use it much. Good scope for the price, though. I like the reticle quite a bit. Brightness and resolution was not where my Bushnell 4200 is, but that's to be expected considering the cost of each of those scopes. I found eye relief to be very generous. Over 4", actually. I've met the Mueller folks at the place I used to work. The glass is from Japan, all scopes are assembled in China (no doubt to keep costs down). They seem to be pretty down-to-earth and they really back thier product. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one if price is a concern. However, I think you can get much better for a little more money.

I got one of their 8.5X25 scopes last fall and am quite pleased with it at the range. I've looked through better glass, but not at this price. I would compare Muellers favorably with 3200s. Good light gathering, even at dusk. It will sit atop my .223 in a Montana PD shoot this spring.

i've had good luck with them, good enought to have just ordered another one. my complaints would be that the eye relief is short (especially on the 8.2-25) and I'd like finer crosshairs. Optically they're not as distinct as say nikon, but when you look at the dollars spent, i don't think you can find a better bargain

I'll agree 100% with butchloc. I bought the 8-25x50 and use it on my 22-250 dirt dog rifle. Seems like in this case you get just a little more than what you pay for. The eye relief is a little short and extremely picky but what I use it for its just fine. I still giggle when I think about what I paid for it. Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics; even if you win, you're still retarded.

I ended ordering the 8-25x50 Eradicator Red Dot scope. I have to say that I'm quite happy with it. I paid $199 for it at oneclickshooting.com. Kory
