I have a Cabela's "Alaskan Guide" (house brand)
6.5-20x44mm scope on my Remington 700VSSF in 223Rem.

And I'd very much like to get a sunshade that fits it.

cabela's doesn't specifically sell one for their scopes but I'm thinking that among all the scope makers someone has to make a scope shade that'll fit.

Many different companies make scopes and shades but all identify what the scope shade fits by the objective diameter of their scope.
However all 44mm objective scopes are not created equally.

there might even be one from a 42mm scope that fits...

If it helps the objective of my 44mm Alaskan guide scope accepts 55mm thread diameter camera
filter rings.

Anyone out there know what thread the objective end of their rifle scope is?
