I was shooting my 35 Whelen at the range working out some loads.
I just shot 3 shots in one hole then the scope went all blurry and all I can see is the reticle. So much for shot 4 and 5 of the group.
Its a 10 power fixed Leopold.
Is that true that there is a lifetime warranty for Leopold? If so who do I send it to?
I brought this one in about 1985. Its been a really good scope up to now.

Regards,
Bob.

I really doubt that Bob can succesfully dial a 1-800... number from Australia.

+(503)526-1400 or productspecialist@leupold.com should be a better option

Yes Bob, they have a lifetime warranty. There might be better optics out there but Leupold's service is second to none and that's were those extra dollars you spend for them go.

This should help --> Leupold Product Service

Yes you can actually dial a 1-800 number from Australia. You start with the international access code 0011 then follow with the 1-800 number. You get a recorded message (male US accent) stating "that this number is not a toll free number. If you proceed you will be charged normal Telstra international rates". Don't forget about the time zone differences.

Or you could try the Aust. agents. Any gunshop would know who they are. I think it may be NIOA.

Thanks for all the ideas. I've taken the NIOA option. Mike at Nioa says they will send it back to the US.
I thought 23 years was good to. I had about 18 years on a .17 Rem.

Regards,
Bob.

I got an email back from Leopold. Its covered under warranty. It was a loose lens. They are going to fix the scope.
I think that is really champion service.

Regards,
Bob.

Good to hear Bob. With Leupold, lifetime is lifetime. I'm sure other mid to high end scope manufacturers out there cover their scopes just as well but it is certainly nice to see service in action thumb.
