What problem are you having? I have a Leica 1200. The only problem I've ever had was when I dropped it in the mud. It stopped working until I cleaned the lense of the beam.

The unit (1200 model) just stopped working properly, all range measurements where wrong, for example a 300 metre target, the unit gave me 70 metres ! Not even close...

Might be too cold for it to work properly. I read the instruction book on one before I WAS going to buy it, said it wouldn't work below freezing!
