I want a silver scope to put on my 1895gs with QR mounts. I want more precision than the open sights give me, but not a real expensive scope. I haven't found many scopes in "stainless", or "silver" that won't break the bank other than a couple Simmons and Bushnells. Does anyone have experience with these? Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too! Recent college grad, started a company called MK Machining where I'm developing a bullpup rifle chassis system.  | ||

I want a scope that has a better field of view and higher magnification for longer range shooting from a stand, then be able to just use open sights for closer shots. If I was going to leave the scope on I might go for that though. Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too! Leupold doesn't make a silver 2-7x33mm right now. But there are 3-9x33mm and 3-9x40mm Leupolds in silver.
