BiebsMike, the B&C reticle is similar to a regular Duplex, but with a couple additional stadia below the main intersection of the crosshairs. With trial and error, you can determine what range each holdover represents.

cjfosterI have a VX3 4.5-14 with the B&C reticle on my 270 Win.
Each mark has been dead on out to 500 yards shooting factory Hornady 130 SST's with a 200 yard zero. I have not shot it that far with my handloads yet.

I have the same scope and reticle, but I also have the CDS dial on there too. Why? 'Cause I'm a belt and suspenders type guy.....
It rides on a McWhorter 7-08 shooting 140 AB's at 2820. I have it zeroed 2" high at 100, and the hashes line up perfectly....300. 400. 450. 500 for where the thick/thin post meet. I really like mine.

AnotherAZWriterI have several; used one on my brown bear hunt earlier in the month. They work well but you have to figure out if your trajectory uses the "first" triangle marker or the "second." My .338 likes the one at lower power.
The best thing to do is zero at 400 yards using the 400 yard stadia line; any errors at closer ranges will probably be negligible, but you should check.
