I know that these two makers are making great quality scopes in Austria and Germany. But I was wondering in this day and age if they have a line of scopes or hunting optics made in other countries as well?

My understanding in both have scopes assembled in the USA (e.g. Swaro Z3, Zeiss Conquest), but where the parts are actually made I don't know. Only USA? Nothing in Asia?

As far as I know all the parts are made in Europe (Zeiss Conquest and Swarovski Z3) and only assembled in USA. No Zeiss or Swarovski scopes are made or assembled in Asia.....by the way I would never pay 3000 $ for a scope that was made in China !

The Swaaro´s are made in Austria (at least what is sold in Europe, exxcept the Z3 edition which is assembled in the US, but the parts are made in Austria as well... By the way - the new Z6i 2nd generation is online now: http://www.titanium-gunworks.d...optik/z6i/index.html Klaus
