I was a recent winner of a Vortex scope from Camera land.
I have not had the oportunity to hunt with it yet, but I sighted it in this past weekend.
I have it mounted on a Mauser 3006.
This scope has really clear optics. I was scoping across a field and it is by far the clearest scope I own.
I generally am satisfied with a fairly cheap scope, but this one may ruin me.
Now I just need a decent trigger for this rifle.

I own a couple of Diamondbacks and I think they are good scopes for the money. My only complaint is the loss of eye relief as you increase the power.

My only complaint is that the tube is a little bit short, and does not allow any adjustments for eye relief. It just fit on the Mauser and the eye relief was ok, but I would like a little more leaway.

A front extention mount might fix that short-tube problem.
