A few weeks ago, I sent my Bushnell Legend rifle scope in for repairs. I had this scope for six years of hard use and sometimes abuse. The gasket sealing the outer lens had pulled apart, and I sent it in to see if they could repair it. While I knew that it had a warrenty, I figured in this day and age and for the amount of abuse (many Nebraska deer seasons and a few that had the scope a bit banged up) that it would be out of warrenty. Today, less than three weeks after I sent it in, I received a new scope! The previous one held its zero right to the end, and I have great hopes for this one. Great customer service for a non top of the line scope!

'Tis a good thing when one's "yes is yes and no is no" and folk stand behind their products and offer service that might even be considered beyond the scope of the actual warranty.

My experience was just the opposite. I had a spotting scope they would not repair, but offered to sell me a new one at MSRP. Plus shipping. Glad they took care of you, though. Hunting: Exercising dominion over creation at 2800 fps.

Yep, I sent in a pair of B&L Legacy binos and they said parts were no longer available, but they would sell me a new pair for about $50.00 more than what I could buy them elsewhere. Told them to send the binos back and they went in the trash.

My dealings with Bushnell was the same except with a scope, only I keep it in the safe to remind me of the only firearms related company I have ever had dealings with that treated me like a stepchild. Glad they do something right once in a while.
