More likely China, Taiwan, or the Phillipines.

The Sportview is (or was, don't know if it's currently in the line up) the bottom of the Bushnell line. Generally, the cheapest scopes are cranked out in the cheapest countries.

Typically, the cheap Asian-made variables in the higher power ranges are marginally useful at best. More often, they're just trash to waste your money and frustration on. Give it to some kid to play with and go buy an actual scope for an optical gunsight.
