I have a kollmorgen bearcub 4x that came on a old rifle. Whats the story on Kollmorgen? Didnt they merge with redfield or weaver??? Did Kollmorgens have real good lenses? Mine seems pretty nice with a blueish color to the glass as you look at it | ||

They may have been absorbed or bought by Redfield. Later Redfield used the Bear Cub name. kollmorgan was bought out by redfield, they were a top grade scope at the time, but compared to todays glass they are way back. coatings were just starting to come in during their time. | |||
