I recently bought a remington gamemaster model 760 in .270 cal. It had a williams twilight 3x-9x scope, model 8051. Someone told me this is an antique? Does anyone know how old this scope is? Value? or know of where i can find information on this scope. thanks

According to Old Rifle Scopes by Nick Stroebel, the Williams Twilight 3-9 was made from 1971 to 1985. According to Stroebel, the value is between $95 & $155. His book was published in 2000 so that estimate would be 6 years old and I don't what kind of tea leaves he used to determine price range. The truest test of value is what someone will give for one on the open market, Ebay for example.
