I recently bought a remington gamemaster model 760 in .270 cal. It had a williams twilight 3x-9x scope, model 8051. Someone told me this is an antique? Does anyone know how old this scope is? Value? or know of where i can find information on this scope. thanks Bkmastr "It is allways better to keep your mouth shut and have people think you are stupid than to open it and prove them right."

According to Old Rifle Scopes by Nick Stroebel, the Williams Twilight 3-9 was made from 1971 to 1985. According to Stroebel, the value is between $95 & $155. His book was published in 2000 so that estimate would be 6 years old and I don't what kind of tea leaves he used to determine price range. The truest test of value is what someone will give for one on the open market, Ebay for example. Mark Pursell

thanks Mark. thats more than i figured it would be worth. I put a new scope on the gamemaster so i'm gonna give the williams to my dad to put on his winchester model 70 7mm mauser for his birthday.
