I zeroed and practiced with my Aimpoint Comp M2 for the first time today (mounted to an S&W M&P 15). It did well and performed for the reasons that I bought it for. I was also happy that the 4 moa dot was not too big for 100 yard targets that I was shooting. I did get to deal with the odd (to me) sight adjustment paradigm, that being the up-left and up-right adjustments, instead of the up-down and left-right adjustment that every other optic I have ever seen uses. It is not a surprise to me, as I worked with these as the M68 when I was in the Army. I really have two questions: 1. Is the newer Comp M4 still adjusted like this? 2. Why would they adjust sights like this? Swedish parallax? sputster

no the new ones does not and it is so a left handed shoot can rotate the scope in the rings and not have to cross the scope to ajust the knob
