Hi all : New on this forum . ... I,m having a problem with a set of rings for a CZ527 ... 3 scopes I have mounted won,t adjust left enough to come within a few feet @ 100 yards ..,. I am hopeing it is the rings . As I know the scopes are good and a scope I mounted that had lots of adjustment would come into zero , ... Has anyone ever had this kind of a problem with CZ rings .. These arn't the Warne brand usually supplied with CZs

No , I hav'nt , do you think that will make that much difference , I was wondering if the dovetail in the rings isn,t off . I was thinking about cutting the dovetail over a little more on the right side of the rings ....

well you could bend the barrel just a bit, or get a different set of rings. wouldn't be the 1st time where rings were goofy. the other thing to try is reversing them. sometimes if they aren't quite straight on you can fix by reversing the rings. (i.e. left and right, front and rear)

Hey butchloc ; Thats an idea . Your smart . the front ring will reverse won,t it ... I,ll lay a scope in there and see if it comes onto the grid of the bore sighter , if it does , I,ll lap the rings and go ahead on er ..... Thanks for all the ideas ..................Sometimes it,s hard to shut down thinking of getting the next load out so I can concentrate on things I want to do ..... I really appreciate you guys putting up with a dumby like me sometimes .....

I don't think you can reverse the one ring since it has a lug that fits in a notch in the receiver. Consider a scope with lots of adjustment like a Leupold 1.5x55. Stay away from the 1.75x6. It has much less adjustment. Try a set of Talley rings. They will work on a CZ unless a real problem with the receiver.

I swapped the front ring around , and that cured the problem . I mounted a scope and it was a bit too far to the left so I brought it a few clicks to the right and went and sighted it in ... I also lapped the rings before mounting the scope ...... Thanks you guys ... Now I have my sweet little 223 ....Predators beware !!!!!
