Have seen some older threads on this, but nothing recent.

Heard the swaro's have non-swarovision glass.

Heard Leica customer service is not great.

Curious on latest thinking?

Not interested in sep solutions, use is plains game hunting in very open areas.

Hi,

I have a Swarovski 10x42 and so far I am very happy with it. Only the lens protection is a little useless and I already lost it. However you get free replacement from Swarovksi.

Coming to Customer Service at least here in Europe, Swarovski has far the best services. However I am surprised about Leica. I have send in two different rangefinders from a Friend in Italy and South Africa. So one got exchanged free of charge after 8 years and the others looked like new. They could be a little faster but Leica's service compared to Zeiss is much much much better.

Zeiss really has a bad service.
