If you had a choice between a Nikon prostaff or Sightron 2 which would you take and why ?

Actually, in that price range, I chose the Burris Fullfield II with matte finish and ballistic plex reticle. Twice! When I decided to step up in magnification, though, I looked at a lot of different 4.5-14X scopes and settled on the Nikon Buckmaster with side focus. Haven't got it mounted yet, but it is a nice looking scope. Just trying to decide whether to put it on a .270 Win or buy a .223 for it. Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

hard luck, If you are speaking of the S2 they are typically more pricey than a Prostaff and are supposed to be quite nice. I would compare a Nikon Buckmasters to the S2 instead of a Prostaff. Maybe a Prostaff to a S1. I currently own only one Prostaff and while it is a very crisp, clear, and strong scope, I would by the S2 If I could get it for the same price. I've only looked through a couple of S2s. They seem to have descent glass and from everything I've heard from owners of them, they are dependable as well. Good Luck Reloader
