does anyone have one of these, that they can compare it to a leupold or burris? I read in a outdoors magazine that the scope wasn't as bright as they expected it to be. any input would be appreciated. thanks--jim

I have the 2.5-16x50 Haven't had it to the range yet. Testing in my back yard I like it better than any Burris. I am a bit of an optic snob I currently own a Schmidt and Bender 3-12x50 pm11 a S and B zenith 3-12x50 a Sand B zenith 1.1-4x. A zeiss victory 2.5-10x50 a victory 6-24x56 and 3-9x42. I would rate these scopes to my eye victory best glass then schmidt then the 6500 then the lesser Euro brands I have Meopta, Kahles American 1". Mine at least is better than any VX3 that I have looked through by quit a bit. I would put the glass in the 6500 right with the Zeiss conquest series for my eye. I can get you a fantastic price on these 6500's pm me.

I have sold a 2.5-16x50 to a friend who has it on a .338 Edge he uses out to 1000yds. He reports that the adjustments are spot on and repeat. I have a 2.5-16x42 on my 257 Wby, great resolution and clarity. I am very satisfied.

GUNNR, thank you sir! That is good to hear.
I shall now try to convince my wife that my 2.5x10 4200 is inadequate for my needs!
