I just sent my rings to Ruger to be exchanged for double extended rings. Anyone tried these? If so, how do they work/look?

I just got the set I swapped for the high rings that came with the Ruger 1a I just bought.

They are the S100rm00 set.
They are heavy ,clunky and I had to lap them for quite a while due to poor machineing.
Once lapped the Nikon Monarch 2-7 aligned perfectly with the colimator and only a 1" elevation adjustment was required.

That said, they allowed me to move the scope back far enough for proper eye relief.

The setup I just took off was a Leupold VX2 1-4 in Leupold low rings.
Nice setup but I couldn't get the scope back far enough to fit me in all circumstances.

I have a large head, short arms and am 6'1" tall.
