Does anyone make a red dot that mounts to a talley base?

How about a red dot that can be mounted in 1", 30mm, or 34mm Talley ring?

My buddy has an Aimpoint that has a longish 1" barrel IIRC. It doesn't impress me though as the tunnel vision is abysmal, not to mention you're captive to electrical components and the battery.

I've seen red dots on double rifles, namely the open, non-tube types - like you see on pistols. Trijicon even makes a tritium version with a light tube array as well.

I just can't use iron sights that well anymore unless a peep sight. I know Talley makes a rear base peep sight, but need to modify the rear base (remove the rear ledge/rise so it can slide on).

Thinking a red dot would be faster target acquisition. I'm sure I could machine something up.
