I need a scope with no turret bulge. 4x would be fine but a compact 2-7 would be better. It's for an old rifle with a side mount.

Look for a Blavar scope - ebay shows several of them.

Balvars on ebay

Since they relied on adjustments in the mounts, Balvars have no turrets.

this mount has no adjustment either. Was hoping to find a scope with adjustments but turret protrusion on only 2 sides.

I have an old Weaver 3X with the windage adjustment on the left side of the scope. I always figures that it was designed to use on a side mount on a Winchester 94.
