A local Gander mountain has a display case for just closeout scopes. Several Leupold VXIII's are in there, as well as a Vari-X III that they still had.

There was a Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10x44mm that I bought for $425. Regular price was $699.

Also, there is still a Swarovski 4-12x50 for $679. I just sold my used one with ring marks on ebay for $875, so this is a heck of a deal.

These are all new in the box scopes. Not sure how the Zeiss and Swarovski got in there, these are still current production scopes.

Geez...what a DEAL! You could buy 'em and re-sell for a nice little profit.

Better yet, having an "extra" scope around is the perfect excuse for needing a new rifle...
