I am in the process of checking out my new 8.5X45 Weaver Grand Slam binocular and the initial impressions are good. It was a heck of a buy and pretty good optics. This will be my truck binocular as I keep losing them to light fingered types or giving them away. This sure isn't a Zeiss or Swarovski but isn't bad and I won't feel bad hunting with this one. More later as I get to use it under differing conditions. Ed
