Well today was the first trip out with the new scope. Here is my un biased un professional review. Today was overcast here in SW Pa. Optics were clear but not as clear as my Nikon's in my opinion. However I was still able to pick out the weeds from the doe that was feeding in the field near the range. Plenty clear enough to pick out a clear shot. The target dot and fine cross hairs showed up perfect even in the over cast conditions. Adjustments moved the cross hairs very accurately while sighting in. Side focus for parallax is not even close to actual distance. Not unusual even with my Leupold. Scope seemed to hold up fine to the brutal recoil of my Remington VTR .223 but it does have a muzzle brake. For the money I am pleased. I like the reticule for what I bought the scope for. However I would not pay over the great sale price camera land had on it. For the prices they have them and the others on sale for I don't think they can be beat, but add a bit more and you are in a Nikon. Molon Labe New account for Jacobite | ||
