I have two rifles wearing El Paso 2.5 scopes with post cross hairs. The posts each have two small triangles that are at rt. angles to the post that divide the post into three equal segments. Do any of you know if these triangles refer to a specific hold over? I have one on an 8 X 57 and the other on a .22.

If they are perpendicular to the vertical post, they are for lead reference (left<--->right), not elevation.

If they are perpendicular to the horizontal post, they are for elevation reference.

Any chance of showing a photo or drawing of the reticle?

PS: George, heaven is where I am the lover, even if I'm not a Greek.
