About 25 years ago I bought a Rem 700 classic in 300 weatherby.Being pretty young and inexperienced with hard kicking rifles i proceded to destroy several cheap scopes. Finally fed up I walked in the local hardware store and bought the most expensive scope they had.It was a tasco bighorn 2.5 x 10 by 50and if I remember right I paid over 500 dollars for it.Well fast forward 25 years and I have alot more knowledge about rifles and scopes. But of all the rifles I own that 300 bee is still my goto rifle and that tasco is still on top.Still never goes off zero and always adjusts perfectly. The optics are as clear as the leupold and burris scopes that i also have.MY question is where would Iever find anotherone?

Some of those early Tasco scopes were apparently OK. A discerning German hunting buddy, who keeps a Zeiss Diavari-D 1.5-6x on his Sauer 9.3x62, is quite happy with the old Tasco on his .30/06.
