I'm sure The Optic Zone's prices are competitive in the US, how they would compare to Aussie prices I have no idea.

You might also check out www.cameralandny.com. Besides new, they often have some slightly used or last years model Leicas with additional savings.

I've bought from both of them and both are great people to do business with. Which one would have the best price on the specific model you're looking for is up to you to determine.

Opps, my bad, it was early in the morning and I thought you said The Optics Zone. I have no experience with Optic Planet. I'd try one of the other two I mentioned first, myself.

Optics Planet's so-called "Sale Price" is the price that most of the other good vendors call their regular price. Because of MAP you will find virtually the same price from most of the vendors. Some vendors will reduce those prices if you ask, but you have to call them. Because the prices are about the same you want a company with top notch customer service. Look to Optic Zone, Bear Basin, CameralandNY and Eagle Optics.
