I have a nice post war steel tubed Ajack 6x scope and want to mate it with a 90%+ Husqvarna Model 648 made in 1948. They will be a very attractive period piece, BUT the scope has a tube diameter of 26.5mm and one inch rings just won't quite fit. Obviously 30mm rings are way too big. What rings can I get which will work with the 26.5 diameter, and where to get them? Weaver bases BTW. Thanks for any help you can give. befus

Hi I took old 26mm rings from AKAH and coldforged them out to 26,5 around a round bar. After that i repolished the rings and blued them. I most cases you can take a standard 1" ring and have it turned up to the right dimension. It's a quick job, takes around 10-15 minutes. Regards StenGun
