I recently picked up an old Weaver V9, 3-9x, 38mm? (I think) scope. It has steel scope caps and a blued steel tube. Fine crosshair and round eyepiece. El Paso stamped. Can't seem to find anything on it, only later versions. Any insights into when it might have been made?

Stroebel says the V9 was made from 1967 to 1984.
