Hello,
Just rec'd subject scope to be used on Ruger Mod. 77 RSI, Hawkeye,cal.'06, and curious of any others expereience w/ this scope. Wanted to keep the weight down as much as possible and will say it is feather light and the matte finish goes well w/ the same type of finish on the Hawkeye. All feedback appreciated.

Very light weight and about as unbreakable and un-tempermental as an anvil.

I like them on big bores.

I have one on my .458 Lott and find it to be light, bright and adequately powered for woods hunting out to as far as I would hunt with the Lott (and steel plates out to 300yards). Has excellent eye relief also!

I think it would be a good scope for your West Virginia mountains.
