I have a neat Pecar Champion 2 3/4X scope and would like to change the reticle to either a Pecar no. 4 or no. 10 reticle.

It has the interchangeable reticle system but finding parts for these is not easy. I'd appreciate any leads as to who could supply or make a new reticle for this scope.

Try searching Opticswarehouse Ltd in England. They were advertising replacement reticles for the Champion a year or two ago and may still have some.

It amazes me that the Champion can use them, too, as image-movement reticles normally have to be connected to the erector tube at one end or the other but their pic did not make this obvious.

Failing that I think I might need to find a optical specialist that might be able to make a reticle for me.

I hope it works for you. BTW, in case you worry about damp air getting in while you make the change, I think sitting right next to refrigerated air-conditioning seems to drop the humidity big-time, if the humble gauge I have can be believed.
