I like the looks and the specs on the 1.5-6x24. Has anyone used one of these new scopes and what were your impressions? I am leaning towards the circle dot reticle.

I have that very scope (got it in a trade) and I think it is over rated. Field of view does not seem great and no where near as bright as Swarovski, Zeiss or S&B. Check with Camera Land for their demo sale and see if you can swing the European scope. I don't like it as well as my VX III scopes.

LJS,

If you are so disappointed that you are looking to trade or sell let me know. Otherwise I guess I'll be looking for a Leupy 1.5-5X20 illuminated circle dot.

I have the scope mounted on a 35 Whelen using Talley mounts. I love Talleys but I'm sure underneath them are some scratches that would be hard to love. It will stay on the rifle until or if the whole package gets sold. Good luck!
