I recently acquired a rifle with a set of 30MM EAW mounts. I did not want to "break the bank" on a scope so I talked to The Optic Zone about the Leupold Euro scopes. Apparently they were offered for sale in the US last year but were dropped and are for foreign markets this year. Tammi went to work and found me a 1.25X4 for $345 delivered including Leupold flip up scope caps. It is a great looking scope and certainly works out well for me. Apparently there are still some available and to me they look like a good deal.
As usual, The Optic Zone did a great job for me. They're the best!

Just be aware that the leupold 30mm scopes actually use 1" lenses,so they offer no optical advantage over a 1" scope.

I believe you are correct but if you need a 30MM tube it is a reasonable option. I did not have a choice other than a set of new rings for $300 plus the scope. This was my best option.
