Yes.

It's NOT a Nightforce or Leupold, but it's OK. A good starter scope for the money, or for your "informal" shooting. Mine is very repeatable in the box test. The upper magnification is noticeably blurry (like over 24x-but 32x is terrible), and the parallax adjustment seems off to me, but it's an OK scope for the money.

I will eventually upgrade mine to a Nightforce when I can afford it, and put the Burris on a shorter range gun.

You may want to have Burris check out your scope as there may be a lens alignment issue or something else causing the poor image quality at higher magnifications.

That is not typical for an upper-end Burris.

I have a FFII 4.5-14 and even at 14x it is not really blurry at all...and it's a fair ways off from the black diamond series.

I worked at company with a long term military contract for missile guidance research.

In the light lab there was a Burris Sig 8x32 identical to mine at home.

Every now and then they packed it up for a trip back East to Picatinny Arsenal.

It was the only scope they had, and $ Millions changed hands.

There is certainly something wrong with the scope!
I have used mine for 5 years, clear to 32x.
I do agree that the parallax knob is crap though,
